The Four Pathways

	Spring Pathway This is the time of natural resurrection, new life springing forth from the earth and calling us to transformation as well. We strive for universal compassion and the healing to which such compassion gives birth. All are reasons for celebration.
Summer Pathway During these months, we begin to discover beauty and awe in each other, in ourselves, and in the fascinating world around us. As the sun wraps its warm arms about us, we celebrate with a delightful combination of revelry and reverence for all that is, for all that we are.
	Fall Pathway This, too, is a period of celebration as we contemplate the mysteries that surround us, from the black holes of the universe to the nature of our own souls. As the season progresses, darkness reclaims more of each day. We allow this darkness to pull us into silence as we examine with introspection our own suffering and that of all others with whom we share this planet.
Winter Pathway From the apparent dormancy of the winter months, we are called to explore the imagination and creativity that underlie all of creation at every moment. We come to understand that we, too, are images of God and as such are made for creativity with God. Therefore, this is a time of great expectancy as we celebrate that which is and that which will be.
